I grew up in a family of eight kids. We never had money for things like family vacations. I was in my 20's the first time I saw the ocean. I fell in love. There is something about water that just calms me and makes me relax. We bought What-a-View in 2017. Less than a year later, it was almost destroyed by Hurricane Michael. When insurance finally paid us in 2022 I went to work creating the perfect retreat for families. We have 7 kids and our family will soon have 4 grandkids. We love to share our little slice of paradise with our What-a-View family. We want our guest to have the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect with what matters. Whether you're here for the sunsets, the sand, or the slow pace of coastal living — What-a-View can be your hidden gem in paradise..

What-a-View is a unique set of sister beach houses that are right in the middle of the beach right on the Gulf of Mexico. You can rent one house for a group of up to 10 people or rent both and bring up to 19 people. Travel with friends but still have some privacy and alone time. If you travel as a group with kids and adults, put the kids to bed in one house and let the adults stay up late and have fun in the other. There are over 1600 feet of decks to enjoy the amazing sunset, watch the horseback riders at sunset or watch the dolphins jumping the the Gulf. Pack light because we provide all your beach chairs, umbrellas, tables, wagons, coolers and beach toys. We even provide big fluffy beach towels. Each house has high end appliances and a huge island for socializing. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, space, and oceanfront views.

What A View is a vacation rental that offers a variety of properties for short-term stays.
What A View offers a property with 2 sections, East, and West. You can also book the entire property which allows 16+ people.
You can book What A View through Airbnb or by contacting us directly. Direct booking do allow for us to offer better rates and deals. Availability can be checked through our Airbnb which is always up to date.
We do allow furry friends! However, any animals must be approved prior to arrival. All animals must be well behaved. No aggressive animals are allowed and they must me trained adequately. For more questions or concerns regarding animals feel free to contact us for more information, as approval of animals is case by case. However, we love animals!
